April is Autism Awareness month and we’re sharing one of our favorite locations: We Rock the Spectrum in Novi. The zip slider, crash pit, trampoline, swings, monkey bars, and climbing mountains are just a few different types of equipment you’ll find in their space. What to Expect

The Novi center promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with fun and engaging activities. Here are some highlights you can look forward to:

  • Inclusive Play Equipment: Kids can enjoy swings, slides, and climbing structures designed for sensory development.
  • Art and Creativity Zones: These areas will encourage self-expression through various art projects and sensory-friendly activities.
  • Classes and Workshops: We Rock the Spectrum offers a variety of programs focused on skill-building, socialization, and sensory play. Keep an eye out for exciting classes that cater to all ages!
  • Family Events: Look forward to community gatherings and events that promote inclusion and awareness.

Open Play

Open play is offered daily in 2-hour increments. This is a time specifically designed for kids to come and explore the gym. They also offer sibling discounts, Toddler Tuesday promotions, Happy Hour Friday promotions, and discounted open play packs (sold in a 6 or 12 pack). It’s best to check their website for specific hours and pricing before stopping by in case the space is closed for private parties or events.

Classes and Events

We Rock the Spectrum is more than a kids gym. They offer various weekly classes such as cheer, gymnastics, social skills & play group, and sensory class. All of these are drop-in with an option for open gym after the class. Check their website for special events. April offerings include a resource fair and a Parents’ Night Out.

Camp

When school’s out, but work is still on, camps are there to help you out. They offer both full and half day options. In addition to camps, We Rock the Spectrum also offers Respite, Break Time Care, and One-to-One Attendant Care. The Respite & Break Time Care is designed to provide a break for families with children with special needs.

Birthday Parties

The sensory-safe gym is designed to work for children of all abilities so no one is left out! Most party packages include full use of the gym, amenities, rooms, and arts & crafts area.
