World of Winter Festival
The World of Winter is a FREE, outdoor winter festival in downtown Grand Rapids that features over 100 events, activities and outdoor art installations. Enjoy the displays during the day and stick around in the evening to see them illuminated. The outdoor art is on display along the Grand River and this year’s installations include Starry Night, Angels of Freedom, House of Cards, Roaming Gnomes and more. Frederik Meijer Garden & Sculpture Park
The Frederik Meijer Garden and Sculpture Park is beautiful and expansive – bundle up and wear walking shoes because there’s plenty to see. Start your visit inside at the Convservatory and Children’s Garden Discovery Experience, then head out to explore the Children’s Garden, Sculpture Park, Japanese Gardens, Michigan’s Farm Garden and Frey Boardwalk.
Launch Trampoline Park
Let loose and have fun at Launch! The indoor amusement center has a ninja course, rock climbing tower, ball pit, launch pads, XP Arena, arcade and more! It’s the perfect way to get the kids tired in time for the drive back home.
Grand Rapids Children Museum
Grand Rapids Children Museum is a miniature world for kids of all ages with a construction site, medical center, farm and shopping center.
