Head to Palmer Park February 11th for a day of fun, activities and food!
Check out the newly restored Log Cabin decorated for Valentine’s day and Black History month. While inside the cabin enjoy story times for the children, free book giveaway for kids, and a live spinning wheel demonstration. They will also have a heated tent featuring live music, African dancing and drumming, art-making, FREE hot cocoa and treats, games and prizes and more! New entertainers every hour so make sure to stick around for the whole day!
More of an outside person? Check out the horse and carriage rides! ($5 donation suggested per adult.) Enjoy winter sports and activities (weather permitting) ice skating and snow shoeing. Please consider bringing books for the Park’s Little Free Libraries and hats/mittens/gloves/scarves (especially for children) to give away to those in need.
Winter Lovefest at Palmer Park will take place February 11th from 2pm-5pm.
