Livonia is a park super hub hosting 22 parks with playgrounds it can be hard to pick just a few! Here are a some of our favorites.

Beverly Park (Sunset Park)

Beverly Park (also known as Sunset Park)is a quaint neighborhood park in Livonia. It is fenced in on three sides, has a pavilion, benches, swings, toddler structure and lots of fun things to climb. From rock walls, ropes and monkey bars this is a climbers paradise.

Rotary Park

Livonia’s largest and most popular playground, Rotary Park is a universally accessible playground featuring slides, swings, sandbox, and musical equipment for kids of all abilities. The playground sits next to a paved walking trail. There is also a hiking trail baseball diamonds, and tennis courts.

Mies Park

This park is mostly shaded and is very spread out! Great for those kids who love to run. It is nestled in a local neighborhood and has tons of trees to explore. The park has one main structure, two sets of swing sets, and a smaller structure as well as a pavilion!

Clement Circle Park

Calling all daredevils! Clement Circle hosts super tall mega, structure that is great for older kids to explore. It is fully fenced in up at the top so there is no worries of falling. There is also a smaller structure for those who are less adventureful as well as a swing set. This park is next to one of the cities pools. So be sure to pack the swim trunks and spend the day here.

Country Homes Park

Country Homes Park is a cute little neighborhood park that was recently renovated in 2022. It hosts a swing set with a mommy and me swing, music making area and a large play structure. Also, nearby you can find a small pavilion and baseball fields.

Sheldon Park

Switching gears. Looking for a park that is full sun all the time? Check out Sheldon Park! It hosts a cute pirate themed play structure, wide open fields, three swing sets, tennis courts, a pavilion and is located next to the Sheldon pool.

Greenwood Park

Greenwood Park is a hidden gem of Livonia. This awesome neighborhood park is completely hidden from the road other than the paved walking trail leading up to it. It is woods themed and has a fire truck, swing set, spinning net, monkey bars, and a medium sized play structure. There is also a large open field perfect for a game of soccer.

Devonaire Park

Devonaire is another sprawling park. It is mostly shaded and has two play structures, swing set, baseball fields and a large pavilion.

Bicentennial Park

The new Ben Celani Play Area is a million dollar park improvement that has something for all ages. An all-inclusive playground is wheelchair accessible and features an all-users swing and zipline. A firetruck/house climber, littles will love. 2,000 sq ft fitness area for parents AND grandparents. In addition to the new features, one of the older play structures remains on the site, leaving plenty of space to run and play. Bicentennial Park also features soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, walking trails and a dog park.

Castle Gardens Park

Always a hit with the kids, the 3 story slide is fun for kids to climb. The spiderweb and balance blocks are a fun challenge for bigger kids. Littles can enjoy a smaller structure and a swings – including a ‘mommy and me’ swing!

John Stymelski Veteran’s Park

This is one of our favorite summer time parks. It is always shaded and is another sprawling park with lots of open space. The park has a plastic structure as well as a massive metal slide, swing set, sand box and a pavilion. There is almost always some sort of wildlife here, so keep your eyes out for a friendly rabbit or deer.
