Opening Day Celebration: Sunday, May 5

Birmingham Farmers Market Opening Day Celebration includes live music, food trucks, a kids’ zone and other festivities! Every Sunday, May 5 through October 27, shop over 50 local vendors, listen to live music and enjoy kids activities. The market hosts a variety of special events monthly throughout the season, with face painting, petting farms, fitness activities and more! The market is located in Public Parking Lot 6 at 660 North Old Woodward Avenue.

Touch-A-Truck: Saturday, May 11th

Learn about behind-the-scenes happenings at the Department of Public Services during their Open House Touch-A-Truck event, scheduled for Saturday, May 11 from 10am to 2pm at 851 South Eton. This annual event is a family favorite with DPS trucks, fire trucks and equipment on display, informational exhibits and complimentary grilled hot dogs and other refreshments!

Strawberry Jam-Boree: Sunday, June 16

The Birmingham Farmers Market‘s Strawberry Jam-Boree event is new this year! Celebrate everyone’s favorite berry with strawberry-themed activities and offerings, live music, kids’ activities, food trucks and more!  The market is located in Public Parking Lot 6 at 660 North Old Woodward Avenue.

Outdoor Movie Night: June 7

Head to Booth Park in downtown Birmingham for the first outdoor movie night of the season featuring Migration! As always, the event is FREE. Pre-show entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m; movie at 7:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, Movie Nights will be held the following evening (Saturday). Save the date for more Movie Nights throughout the summer on Fridays, July 19, August 9 and September 6.
