If a change of scenery and location is what you’re family is looking for – but not too far away – we suggest making a day trip to Macomb County for outdoor fun, animals, and treats!

Family Fun @ Blake Farms

Fall requires a visit to Blake Farms! U-pick produce, stock up on cider and donuts and enjoy adventures at Funland! Save the date for the Sunflower Festival starting August 22nd.

Huron-Clinton Metroparks

Use your library card to register for a FREE day pass to a Huron-Clinton Metropark with the Michigan Activity Pass. There are 3 in Macomb and you’ll want to visit all of them.

Macomb Corners

We visit a lot of playgrounds and Macomb Corners is a winner. The colorful, play structure has engaging and challenging features to delight kids of all ages and abilities. Kids can test their agility, speed and balance on equipment designed for toddlers to school-age kids. Address: 19449 25 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042

Visit The NEW LegaSea Aquarium

The wait is finally over! The LegaSea Aquarium is OPEN! The popular Reptarium is now bigger and better than ever with more animals and hands-on experiences at a new location (across the street). Open from 11am to 7pm daily.

Indoor Play

Yoyo’s Fun Center in Clinton Township has it ALL! Massive ball pits, multiple slides of all kinds (including drop slides!), a ninja course, trampolines, LED hallways, cool tube features and many unique play features for kids of all ages. Big kids can run around freely in the main play area, while young kids can play in the dedicated section that has nearly identical play features.

Need to get out the house and let the kids bounce on someone else’s wall? Head to Urban Air Adventure Park – Sterling Heights for ropes and warrior courses, indoor playground, sky riders and more!
