John Krasinski launched the Share Good News show on YouTube this week and we could not love him more for it. Inspired, we decided to pay it forward and share some things that make us smile.
The Backstreet Boys’ living room performance of “I Want It That Way” made us feel like a kid again – at least for 4 minutes. They’re scheduled to perform at DTE Energy on July 23rd and we are getting our girls back together for this show.
We relish the hours outside these days and walks through our neighborhood are getting a little brighter as people are joining the #RainbowsOverMichigan movement and decorating their doors and windows. If you’ve decorated your house, tag us in your pictures or email a picture to [email protected] to be entered to win a Crayola Coloring Art Case.
The Gaines always make us smile. When they had to cancel the annual Spring at the Silos event they gave full refunds and offered to reimburse traveler up to $1,000 for lost costs. Joanna’s new cookbook is released April 7th and she’s been sharing a sneak peek of recipes in her Instagram stories and we’re all about it.
My youngest has very few interests but he LOVES Elmo. Since we can’t go to the library for new books, I was thrilled to learn that Sesame Street has made 100 ebooks available for FREE on all platforms. More library inspired good new – Dolly Parton will be reading stories from the Imagination Library’s collection every night at 7pm on YouTube starting April 2nd.
If you’re a Disney Pixar fan and need a good (happy) cry, Onward is being released on Disney+ and direct streaming on Amazon, April 3rd.
Give us a reason to smile. Share good news, articles that made you happy or videos that made you laugh so we can keep the good news coming. Send me an email at c[email protected].
