Summer is coming…and so is the sunshine (hopefully). While it might not be hot yet Bauervic Woods Park in Southfield is the perfect way to escape the heat while in the shade.
Bauervic Woods Park has a little something for everyone. Including older kiddos that love massive three story structures. This fully shaded park offers multiple toddler structures, moving balance beams, stepping stones, monkey bars, a huge tube slide, and lots of walking bridges. While we went in the spring, this park is fully shaded in the summer and offers great relief from the heat.
We love that this park has both the big kid structures and the toddler structures in perfect view of each other. It’s super nice for families with multiple kids as there are perfect eyesight lines between them both from the picnic tables. This park also offers walking trails, and a picnic area so pack a lunch and spend the day here! Note: there are no bathrooms at this park so plan ahead!
