Put on your green and get ready to party, the Detroit’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns to Michigan Avenue in Corktown on Sunday, March 12th.
Find your seat on the original brick road of Michigan Avenue (between 6th and 14th street) to watch the color guard units, floats, novelty groups and marching bands for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Step off begins at 1pm from Michigan Avenue and Sixth Street and the parade lasts for approximately 2 hours.
The parade is free, but you can purchase advanced tickets for the Family Fun Zone. Tickets cost $12 per person or $60 for a family of 6 for access to grand stand seating, parking, inflatables, dance lessons, live performances and appearances by Tigers and Lions mascots, Paws and Roary. The family zone is open from 11:30am to 3:30pm.
