EASTER EVENTS & EGG HUNTS HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND

The Easter Bunny is set to officially arrive on Sunday, April 9th, however, there are plenty of Easter Egg Hunts and Easter events happening throughout Metro Detroit to enjoy beforehand – including this weekend!

BUNNY HOP
@ Summit Canton – Thursday, March 30
Who wouldn’t love a special night of music and dancing with the Easter Bunny? This family dance will take place at the Summit on the Park Banquet Center from 6-8pm. Don’t “hop” in too late, the Bunny will be available for pictures for the first hour of the event; the last hour they will be shaking their cotton tail on the dance floor with you! All family members will need a ticket to attend regardless of age.

MEET THE EASTER BUNNY
@ Toyology Toys – Saturday, April 1
Come say hi at Toyology, get a free prize egg and take a picture with the Easter Bunny! All 3 locations are hosting activities: West Bloomfield (11am to 1pm), Bloomfield Hills (1:30pm to 3:30pm) and on Sunday at Royal Oak from 1pm to 3pm.

BUNNY BREAKFAST
@ Summit Canton – Saturday, April 1
Enjoy strolling entertainment and a visit and picture with your favorite furry egg-toting friend. During the breakfast, kids can visit with the Bunny and create a bunny craft. All children will receive a holiday souvenir, crayons, and placemat. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

EGG HUNT
@ Art Attic, Plymouth – Saturday, April 1
Each registered child will receive a mini art kit and about 5 eggs filled with various prizes. Please remember to bring a basket for your eggs. The bunny will be here of course! Take advantage of the photo ops before or after the hunt.

SENSORY-FRIENDLY VISIT WITH THE BUNNY
@ Brownstown Event Center – Saturday, April 1
We will have a slow paced sensory friendly egg gathering, crafts, bunny’s and other activities inside the event center. If weather permits some activity may be outside. Activities will be ongoing from 10am-12pm

THE BUNNY TRAIL
@ Grant Park, Utica – Saturday, April 1
Join us for this Trunk R Treat style FREE event! Families will “Hop” The Bunny Trail and collect candy, eggs and goodies from local businesses. At the end of the trail, you will find the Bunny himself! Where you can take pictures and enjoy a tasty donut and hot cocoa! Bounce House and music too!

EASTER EGG HUNT
@ Huron Park, Roseville – Saturday, April 1
Participants ages two (2) through ten (10) can hunt for eggs and candy in separate age divisions. *New this year, we will have an adaptive area for all ages!*

BUNNY TRAIL
@ Heritage Park, Taylor – Saturday, April 1
The annual Bunny Trail includes Easter treat bag, exciting characters and a photo op with the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget to bring your cameras!

EASTER EGG HUNT
@ Romulus Senior Center – Saturday, April 1
Romulus Recreation invites you to the 2023 Easter Egg Hunt! Join us behind the Romulus Senior Center (36525 Bibbins St) on April 1st, 2023 at noon! Bring your baskets to collect eggs and take a photo with the Easter Bunny!

@ Downtown Wyandotte – Saturday, April 1
Bring your family and friends for a fun day of stopping, shopping, and hopping your way along Biddle Avenue and the beloved tree streets (Sycamore, Maple, Elm, Oak and Chestnut). At 3 Ferndale Parks, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket!

EGG-STRAVAGANZA
@ Canterbury Village, Orion Township – Saturday, April 1 & 2
Come out to Canterbury Village for an afternoon of fun and adventure. The shops will have kids’ Easter activities throughout the afternoon include crafts, lawn ames, and selfie photos with the bunny. The moment we’ve all been waiting for arrives! Bring your baskets, find eggs, and then choose which shops to trade them in at for candy and other cool prizes! Don’t forget to hop down to Yates Cider Mill & check out the petting zoo.

EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA
@ Blake’s Farms, Armada – Sunday, April 2
Hop through the orchard and fill your basket with bright colored eggs, snap a photo with the Easter Bunny and fill up on Easter treats from the Cider Mill or sit down and enjoy a meal inside Blake’s Tasting Room. Guests can enjoy a train ride through the orchard and admission to Funland.

@ Heritage Park, Farmington Hills – Sunday, April 2
Hop on down the bunny trail to search for your eggs, stop at treat stations along the way to collect fun prizes. Take your photo with the Bunny in the Red Barn and even paint an egg!

That beloved bunny will join us on April 2 in the St. Clair room for a day of photos and fun. Come decorate an Easter egg drawing and grab a goody bag after taking your child’s photo.

BUNNY HOP
@ Kirksey Recreation Center, Livonia – Sunday, April 2
Come to our NEW Bunny Hop 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at the Kirksey Recreation Center for a fun Easter-themed afternoon where you will stuff a new bunny friend to take home, get photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy arts and crafts, and play bunny hop game for sweet eatable prizes.

THE GREAT EGG SCRAMBLE
@ Thorn Park, Brownstown – Sunday, April 2
Join us for an egg scramble on the soccer fields located at King and Telegraph. Eggs will be empty but turn them in for a goody bag! Everyone gets a bag! Some bags may contain a ticket for a special Prize! Join us in the warm community center after for a puppet show (130pm) and crafts.

EGG HUNT & BUNNY FUN
@ Gilbert Willis Park, Wixom – Sunday, April 2
Come to Gilbert Willis Park on Sunday, April 2nd for an easter egg hunt, jelly bean guess, take home craft and pictures with the Easter bunny! No advance registration is required. Rain or shine, we’ll see you there! $5/child (event for children ages 2-10).
