Add Elizabeth Park onto your summer bucket list now! Two playgrounds, skate park, marina, farmers market, work out equipment, walking trails, pony rides AND a riverfront boardwalk make this the perfect summer stop.
Elizabeth Park is sprawling with so much to offer. Beautiful walking trails and bridges along the water complete with a gorgeous gazebo. Area A has four work out stations conveniently located across the street from a bathroom and one of the two playgrounds. The first playground is nicely shaded and a climbing lovers paradise. Monkey bars, climbing wall, rope tower and swings will keep you’re kids plenty busy until your ready to move on to the next stop!
A little further down the road, you will find a skate park on your left and the newly updated park with a riverfront boardwalk on your right with multiple places to relax and fish along the river. The park features three structures perfect for multiple aged kids, a drop tower, lots of climbing options, slides, a playground scavenger hunt, and swings. All with a nice riverfront view.
The Children’s Pony Ranch is open for the season. Guests can stop by the corral between 12pm and 7pm (weather permitting), Tuesdays through Sundays for $7 children’s pony rides (CASH ONLY) through the nature trail. Children, 100lbs and less, can ride on a pony that is held by an adult for a 15-minute loop trail walk. Parents/guardians can walk next to the horse during the ride. In addition to riding a pony, guests can visit with other animals including donkeys, goats and a llama.
