LEARN ABOUT PRIDE
Pride Month, observed throughout the month of June, is dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ+ pride. This month (and every month!) is the perfect opportunity to learn about the history of Pride and talk with your family about the importance of inclusivity and equality for the LGBTQ+ community. Check out your local library for books about Pride, or expand your home library by shopping at one of these queer-owned independent bookstores: Sidetrack Bookshop (Royal Oak), Bettie’s Pages (Lowell), or Wayfaring Booksellers (Lansing).
