Potter Park Zoo is perfect for a quick easy add on to any trip in the Lansing area. Easily walkable and very engaging for every age.
Potter Park Zoo is a great Zoo to get up close and personal with tons of animals. See over 350 of their animal residents with more being born daily. Be sure to check out the baby ring tailed lemurs and tamerians born last month! The Zoo is part of AZA species survival plan. The animals come and go as needed, making it always a new adventure.
The Zoo even has a built in farmyard experience. Pet lamas, pigs, horses, cows and more! Go into the goat pens and give them a brush with one of the many provided. Or check out the camel rides! For just $7 per person you can enjoy this one of a kind treat.
While there be sure to catch one of the many keeper talks posted at the entrance to the zoo. They are very informative and will answer any questions you may have about the animals. The zoo also has a savanna grill you can enjoy. Or pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it at the park nearby.
