Local Chamber of Commerces in metro Detroit have sponsored $1 Admission Days at the Detroit Historical Museum for its residents. Check out the schedule below to see if your city is on the list and reserve your spot to check it out.

Walk the streets of old Detroit, get an up close look at the Motor City at work, sing along with Motown, and experience the splendor of Hudson’s during the holidays at their new display. The Detroit Historical brings history to life and engages kids of all ages with hands-n fun.

City Days will feature scavenger hunts, docent-led tours, giveaways, and more for only $1.  You can also enjoy refreshments like ice cream and lemonade courtesy of your city’s chamber of commerce. 

July 2:  Livonia

July 16: West Bloomfield
July 23: Westland
July 30: Ecorse

The Detroit Historical Museum is located at 5401 Woodward Ave and the city has FREE street parking on Sunday, making it easier to plan for your visit.

BONUS: Everyone can enjoy FREE admission to the Detroit Historical Museum on Saturday, July 15th. No registration required.

The Detroit Historical Museum is open from 10am to 5pm on Wednesdays – Saturdays and from 1pm to 5pm on Sundays. Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children. Households of up to 6 guests with the same address is $35.
