Westland’s new $3 million playground at Tattan Park is incredibly and can easily be considered the best playground in the region. Pack a picnic and get ready to spend a day having fun outside.
The elaborately designed “Mission to Mars” playground features towering rocket ships, lunar rovers, slides, climbers and a unique collection of swing options you won’t find anywhere else. From Mommy and Me Swings to Merri-Go-Round swings and cozy hammocks – sit back and relax. With solid turf surface, it’s an accesible playground with multiple areas of play that can keep kids busy for hours. Pictures can’t do it justice, you will want to make the visit.
Bring your swimsuit and cool down at the dinosaur theme H20 Zone Splash Pad. The recently upgraded attraction incldues water sprayers, dump bucket and interactive sounds and lights features. Admission is $10 for non-residents ($5 for residents) and it is open daily from 11am to 7pm now until Labor Day.
There are also public restrooms and concessions available at the pavilions.
