Fire & Ice Festival (Rochester) 

Friday, January 16 & Saturday, January 17

The Fire & Ice festival kicks off Friday, January 16 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm, and continues Saturday, January 17, from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, with activities centered around East Third Street and Water Street. There are new and exciting attractions this year, including Snowzilla Jr.’s winter slide, Frosty the world’s tallest bounce house, and a synthetic skating rink.

Tecumseh Ice Sculpture Festival

Friday, January 16 & Saturday, January 17

Bundle up and bring the family for a weekend of frosty fun in Downtown Tecumseh! Wander the streets and marvel at over 40 dazzling ice sculptures, each one a unique work of art.

Dexter Ice Festival

Saturday, January 17

Head to downtown Dexter to see over 80 incredible ice sculptures and watch live ice carving demos in action! This year, take part in the first-ever Cocoa Crawl, with local restaurants and shops offering special deals and sales all day long.

Winter Carnival @ Clark Park (Detroit)

Saturday, January 17

The FREE festival features outdoor games, music, a petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage, ice skating and more! Stick around for the hockey classic at 6pm.

Blake’s Bavarian Winterfest (Armada)

January 17 & 18

World of Winter (Grand Rapids)

The World of Winter is a FREE outdoor festival that takes over downtown Grand Rapids’ parks every year. Bundle up and walk along the Grand River to find a variety of larger-than-life art installations, interactive ice activities, selfie stations and more! This is the Midwest’s LARGEST winter festival and it’s only 2 hours away.
