You know spring has arrived when Greenfield Village opens for the year. The historic village opens to the public on Saturday, April 13th and members can get early access on Friday, April 12th. Greenfield Village is our happy place. I love taking a trip through time to explore the working farm, Liberty Craftworks, Main Street and the historic homes. The gardens are a beautiful oasis and the train is fun for everyone. Let the kids run around, get sandy and a little wet in the summer at the playground. You can’t leave without a cone of custard because it’s ‘tradition’.

Kits and Owlets

Tweet Tweet!

  • When: Saturday, 9:30am

Tweet Tweet! is the story of a magical tree and two young birds that discover the outside world and learn to fly. The story follows the two birds from sunrise to sunset. Watch the birds awaken in their nests on a spring morning, move through the dawn chorus, discover the tree and each other, play and search for food. The world is enchanting, serene and peaceful, reminiscent of a forest. The wonder is captured by the audience sitting on a large forest floor carpet and soon everyone is involved in the adventure! A 30-minute contemporary circus performance experience for our youngest audience, age 0—3 and their caregivers.
