When you need to get out the house but don’t want to be outside, here are a few of our favorite indoor play places you’ll want to check out!

Great Lakes Crossings (Auburn Hills)

Always a win. Let the kids get creative in LEGOLAND Discovery Center – they can check out the massive mini-Detroit, build with LEGOS (and create their own stop action movie), go on rides, relax and watch a 4D movie and race around the play structures (there’s one for big kids and littles).

Down the hall you’ll find SEA LIFE Michigan with animals to touch and see, water tunnels to crawl and walk thru and hands-on games to play.

The pre-k crowd will be amazed by Peppa Pig World of Play. The favorite scenes and characters are all there to play with – jump in muddy puddles, race through George’s castle, go on a car ride with Daddy Pig, or on the bus with Ms. Gazelle. Nap time after this activity will be a breeze.

If you need to grab a bite to eat before you go, the Food Court has plenty of options PLUS a carousel and free Great Lakes themed play area to let out all the energy before the drive home.

Dinoland (Madison Heights)

The new Dinoland location features a 5000 sq ft playscape with multiple levels to climb through, a ninja course, zip-lines, wave slides, and a dedicated toddler play area. The dinosaur themed play cafe has the the pre-historic figures featured in multiple ways, including features to ride on and animatronic ones to watch!

Kidcadia (Dearborn)

Kidcadia is the perfect indoor oasis for kids and parents. The beautifully design 10,000 sq ft venue is welcoming to all. With a dedicated toddler space, the littlest ones can join in the fun while older kids can climb up the treehouse and in to the massive playset. Kids and adults can get creative in the coloring quarters. Slide down one of the many slides or jump on their trampoline!

Stemville (Northville)

Stemville is a colorful, engaging play place for kids and serene, relaxing space for parents. Getting out of the house with kids is stressful; therefore the calming instrumental version of popular hits and a coffee bar is a reward onto itself. Lego blocks, robots, magnet tiles and more, there are plenty of activities to keep toddlers and bigger kids busy – including a monthly STEM Patch activity.

T & B Play (Clawson)

T & B Play is the most creative space that features ball and bead pits, giant slides, tube slide, trampolines, glow in the dark tunnels and more! The structure is spacious enough for adults to fit through with relative comfort – always a bonus! The children’s tiny town area has a play store AND a dress-up shop with clothes to wear. If you want to play games they have basketball and an interactive screen game in the ballpit that kids and parents will enjoy.

Rev’d Up Fun (Woodhaven)

Rev’d Up Fun offer 30,000 square feet of fun. Keep up with the kids as they race from the indoor playscape, bumper cars, lazer tag, arcde, XD Dark Rides, VR Arena and a ropes course! There’s literally something for everyone and parents can try their hand at Axe Throwing.

Sky Zone (Commerce)

When we say your kids can literally bounce off the walls, we aren’t kidding. The recently rebranded Sky Zone (formerly DEFY) will keep the kids busy with things like a wall tramp, airtrack, nijnja course, trapeze/aerial skills, slides, rope tunner, battle beams, basketball and more. Your kids are going to beg you to come back.
