If you’re looking for a great place where EVERYONE can have fun – plan a trip to the all-inclusive Gilbert Willis Park in Wixom.
When the kids ask for slides, head to Wixom. The universal playground is great for all ages with tubes to climb in, slides to race down, an obstacle course and a variety of swing options (including a Mommy & Me one!). The park also has a nature trail, basketball + tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a covered pavilion with a fireplace and public restrooms available seasonally.
If you want a kid-friendly walk along a boardwalk & nature trail, take a short drive to the Wixom Habitat Trailhead (Potter Rd, Wixom, MI 48393). The .67 mile walk ends at an outlook over Gallager Lake.
